There is plenty of room on the grass outside the hall for a bouncy castle weather permitting. There is room inside the hall for a toddler sized bouncy castle ( 10ft x 8ft) suitable for 3 years and under.
Please ensure you have adequate time within your hall hire for the delivery and collection of an inflatable.
Also please bear in mind that you are responsible for any accident or injury arising out of this activity. (See Terms and Conditions of hire)
Vehicles may access the lawn for delivery purposes - to do so they must drive round the RH side of the hall keeping away from the paving slabs.
All the china and crockery in the kitchen is available for use during your hire period. You are welcome to bring in alternatives. There is a limited range of cooking implements.
There is no kettle in the kitchen. There is a Quooker, a boiling water tap. To use position a receptacle under the tap, press down and turn clockwise.

There is no built in music system or speakers. Music can be played via a wifi link
Yes, the hall has wifi and the access details are pinned to the noticeboard in the entry hall.
We are a dry hire venue so we do not have in-house caterers. Hirers are welcome to use external caterers. We have some listed in our preferred suppliers who have worked at the hall before if you wanted to start there.
There is an under counter fridge in both the kitchen and bar area as well as a small counter top freezer in the bar area.
Yes, you're welcome to have a marquee at the hall. You can find a couple of suppliers on our website here but you are welcome to find your own supplier.
There is a £250 charge to place a marquee on the lawn (please note this does NOT include the marquee, it is a pitching fee as they can do damage to the grounds)
There is no charge for gazebos.
Often, marquee companies need to erect prior to your hire day but in these cases please make sure you make contact with your booking clerk to make sure that this is possible.
We recommend you visit the hall with your marquee supplier to ensure that they have the access they require and have checked the size of the area needed.
Unfortunately not. The hall is a wooden building and is surrounded by orchards so strictly no fireworks or fire pits at the hall.
Yes! Please do! The beams in the hall are great for decorative lighting, bunting etc. Please use cable ties where possible to limit damage and do not put anything on the walls.
Yes, we have a baby change in the disabled toilet. Please ensure that all soiled nappies are taken away with you.
Yes, we have a double power socket outside just to the right of the doors to the garden.
Yes. These are very popular with the hall. They can either park in the car park or on the lawn. If the latter then please ensure that they do not drive over the paving slabs as these are protecting manholes.

Please note that there is strictly no parking outside of the hall along the lane, even if on the grass verges.
Yes, we have an a frame step ladder at the hall in the store cupboard.
We do not. The tables and chairs are not allowed to be used outside unless in a marquee with hard or coir flooring. There is a local farmer who will deliver hay bales should this be something you are interested in then please consult your booking clerk.
Yes but only biodegradable or dried flower confetti please.
No, the hall is not licensed. If you are using a bar company then they will have one of their own. If you wish to buy alcohol and sell it to your guests then you will need to apply for a TENS license with the council. Please note that this takes a while so please do a few weeks ahead.
No, the hall is not licensed though some couples do have a non-legal blessing at the hall following/prior to the church/registry office.
